The Ahead Psychology website (the Website) is owned and operated by Ahead Psychology Pty Ltd ATF the Ahead Trust (Ahead Psychology).

Your use of the Website and any Content will governed by the law of the State of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute arising out of the use of the Website or the Content will be determined by the courts of that State and their appellate courts.

Whilst we take care to ensure the accuracy of all Content on or available through the Website, to the extent permitted by law, Ahead Psychology assumes no legal liability for and does not warrant that the Content on the Website is accurate or complete, or that the website pages will be free from errors, or that the website’s availability will be uninterrupted.

In the event that Ahead Psychology is liable for breach of any implied warranty or condition that cannot be excluded, then Ahead Psychology’s liability shall be limited to the replacement or repair of goods if liability arises in respect of goods, or in the case of services, re-supplying the services, or paying for the costs of re-supplying the services.

Ahead Psychology’s name, logo, corporate symbols and trademarks are the sole property of Ahead Psychology, and no permission is given in respect of their use.

Copyright in all content on the Website is owned by Ahead Psychology unless otherwise indicated.

Other than for the purposes of and subject to the conditions prescribed under the Copyright Act 1968 (or any other applicable legislation throughout the world) you are not permitted in any form or by any means to reproduce, adapt, re-transmit, distribute, store in a retrieval system or commercialise the content or any part of it without seeking prior written approval from Ahead Psychology.

Ahead Psychology grants you permission to

Tests for Depression and Anxiety (PHQ-9/GAD7)

You agree that access to and use of the PHQ-9/GAD7 tests at your own risk. Ahead Psychology disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Neither Ahead Psychology nor any party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the PHQ/GAD7 shall be liable for any damages, including without limitation, direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, arising out of access to, use of or inability to use the PHQ/GAD7, or any errors or omissions in the content thereof. This limitation includes damages to, or for any viruses that infect, your computer equipment.

Since the questionnaires rely on patient self-report, all responses should be verified by the clinician and a definitive diagnosis made on clinical grounds, taking into account how well the patient understood the questionnaire, as well as other relevant information from the patient. Diagnoses of Major Depressive Disorder or Other Depressive Disorder also require impairment of social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning (Question #10 of the PHQ-9) and ruling out normal bereavement, a history of a Manic Episode (Bipolar Disorder), and a physical disorder, medication, or other drug as the biological cause of the depressive symptoms.
